The main regulations regarding cold storage are given in Royal Decree 138/2011, of February 4: Safety regulations for refrigeration installations (RSF)
In Regulation No. 517/2014 of fluorinated greenhouse gases, we can find the regulations of the European Parliament regarding gases in industrial refrigeration facilities. This regulation reflects the prohibition as of January 1, 2020, the use of fluorinated greenhouse gases with an atmospheric heating potential equal to or greater than 2,500.
The Pressure Equipment Regulation, Royal Decree 2060/2008, of December 12, indicates the design characteristics that pressure equipment must have in refrigeration facilities.
On the other hand, the RITE- Regulation of Thermal Installations in Buildings aims to establish the energy efficiency and safety requirements that must be met by thermal installations in buildings
